World of Yesterday

 

    Based around the idea of time travel, this is the place to travel through certain eras. Here, you can travel through the Future, Ancient Egypt, World War II, Ocean Exploration, and Pre-History. This is all based in a world's fair with time travel concepts dating back to the 1950s-80s.

Entering from Mystic Bazaar is the world's fair, designed to look like something from the Cold War. Walking down the main way, you will find two attractions. Time Adventures is a dark ride with lights based on the Marker film of the same name, which is on the right and exits into Time Travel Treasures. On the left is Wings of War, a flight simulator ride where it's like you're a pilot flying in a WWII dogfight. After the ride, you go into Army Outfitters.

Up next is an area based on Ocean Exploration. Here, the Jet Subs is a spinning ride where you may get wet. Behind that is Super Ray Bros.: The Mission 3-D, a 3-D motion simulator where you join Ray and travel across the 10 worlds from the game to stop Captain Strippedbeard. This ride exits into Atlantis Antiquities. Nearby, you can also explore Aquaria, an aquarium where you are educated about sea life.

To the right is a futuristic area, which features the park's fastest and longest roller coaster, Time Mountain, where you are inside a big, futuristic dome and go through the time periods of Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, the Triassic Period, WWI, and the Future. Outside of the ride is the gift shop It's About Time and the restaurant Clock Cafe.

    I think the scuba divers are a fun idea. It’d be cool to be able to watch them while you dine or something like that. Also, I love the idea of the WWII dogfight. Wings of War is the perfect name!

Marker Square

  There's always something happening in Marker Square. Serving as the entrance to the park, this is an area based off of the big American cities of the Roaring Twenties. Taking inspiration from cities like New York and Chicago, the area has a bunch of tall buildings, all between two and eight stories high, along with a bunch of streets with names referring to what can be found there. There is also a bunch of fictional businesses named after people who helped production in the park. Once you enter through the park's main gates, you will emerge into a small area where a big hill with the City Hall sits, where you can get help and services. Cut into the flesh of the hills are twin tunnels going into the park. Both tunnels are lined with posters advertising the attractions on both sides.  There are three roads when you come through. Mystic Bazaar

  In the middle of a great lake sits an island with a fortified Fifteenth Century Arabian city, complete with a massive palace, the centerpiece of the park, Shahryar's Palace. Based off the original Marker film, Arabian Nights, this also draws inspiration from the Arab character in Marker's Half Magic. This area connects to all the other areas in the park, making moving from place to place easy. From behind the stage in Marker Square, you can cross a bridge into the area, which takes you to the Traders Market, a big collection of stands where snacks, merchandise, and more is sold. In front of the Palace is the Magic Fountain, which preforms water shows from time to time. Behind that are steps and your entry into Shahryar's Palace, where you can explore the mysteries of the palace. World of Mystery

  Across the seas, there is a land of uncharted jungles, perilous rivers, and towering mountains. This is a place where you can explore unknown lands, themed to exploration of the late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Centuries. This area is split into three sub-areas, each one with a different theme. Connecting to Marker Square and Mystic Bazaar is a castaway community on a jungle island. A lot of the buildings of the sub-area are made from salvaged ships and natural things like wood and leaves. On hot days, you can soak up by the Leaky Boiler Splash Zone, a splash pad made of ship parts, most notably boilers. This is found just as you enter the area from the bridge. Between the sign is the Castaway Cook-off Restaurant and the S.O.S. Souvenirs shop. On the right is Shipwreck Steakhouse, another restaurant.
