Atlantic Road


 Welcome to a wonderful little town by the east coast, where a mysterious lighthouse lights the way for the ships in the sea. Inspired by the seaside villages of pre-WWI America, this area is complete with one-of-a-kind entertainment, a big "sea" of wonder, and a nautical feel to keep you feeling suitably like a sailor. However, there is a great supernatural power here, and all of the ghosts, pirates, and creatures who rest out of sight are waiting for you to come their way to whisk you off on adventures. There is also a backstory to the land that you can uncover by going on the attractions, which will help you understand why there is a supernatural force here.

From entering on the bridge from Mystic Bazaar, you walk into a small town square with a statue of a revolutionary war-era sailor in the center. To the right is Anchors Away, an ocean-themed shop, and to the left is Hungry Humpback Restaurant, a quick-service restaurant offering seafood, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and more. Pieces of Eight, a store offering pirate souvenirs, is located in the area as well. Up ahead from the square is a big boathouse where Tsunami Pirates, an aquatic dark ride with boats that spin, sway, and go different paths each time, is housed. This attraction tells the story of an order of pirates in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries who kept the ocean under control, and you, as a person in this story, join them as they search for a long-forgotten fortune lost to mankind. To the right of that is a passage to World of Legends, and on the left is the entrance to Barnacle Boathouse, a restaurant. From there, a long fence goes around the edges of the walkways, making sure that no matter where you are in the area, you can see the "sea."


To the left of this part of the area is the harbor. Here, the Bootstrap Fiddlers play their tunes. Nearby is where the Photo Parlor is and Liam's Irish Pub serves Irish cuisine. Nearby are two boat attractions. Kraken's Fury is an interactive pirate ship attraction that sails around the "sea." Also going around the sea is Ticket to Ride: A Worldwide Steamer Voyage, a ride in a room of the ship with visual effects and screens to make it look like you're traveling around the world of the film Ticket to Ride, based on the best-selling board game of the same name. Nearby in another steamer ship is the S.S. Roosevelt Dining Hall, an elegant restaurant in the dining room of the ship. There are also rafts in the area, which take you to Skull Island Explorations, where you go to the island in the center of the sea called Skull Island and look for pirate treasure in mysterious caverns, a Caribbean village, an old Spanish fortress, a dungeon, a jungle, a bunch of ancient native ruins, and a play area for younger children.

At a transition between the harbor city and a more forested area that connects with World of Mystery, the World Traveler's Port can be found.

In the forested area, Larry's Northeastern Necessities and Grizzly Bear Grill are. In the old woodcutter's house, you can start a self-guided mystery of three to discover what happened that cursed the town, called Atlantic Road: Mysteries of the Sea. Nearby in a Gilded Age-era mansion is Mysterious Manor, a revolutionary dark ride where you travel through the manor's halls and encounter strange beings beyond belief, all while the voice of a banshee guides you. You travel through the halls of the manor, from the foyer to the third floor, then down to the basement, and then into a forest. Although a haunted house attraction, it is not supposed to be too scary, there is no gore, and the experience is family-friendly.
As you get closer to the lighthouse, you will pass by Mysterious Merchandise, where Mysterious Manor- themed gifts are bought. Sawmill Snacks, a treat court in an old sawmill, is nearby.

At the end of the road, right before the lighthouse, is Sea Mountain, a log fume ride based off of the film Eternal Sea. It starts out as you search for ancient viking treasure, but then a wave sends you to the bottom of the ocean where you meet Eli, Odyssey, Keni, and others and join them on an adventure, visiting many iconic locations from the film, including Emperor Duke's kingdom (Antarctica), the RMS Titanic Nightclub, the Floridan coast, the underwater volcano pit, and more, all leading to a 10-story splashdown. Along with a locker house to to store things you don't want to get wet, there is a gift shop called Manatee Merch.

Finally, at the lighthouse is where the adventure culminates in two experiences. One of them is the Old Lighthouse Banquet, a mystery dinner that is reserved for certain nights. The other experience is the Journey to the Phantom Grotto, an interactive attraction where guests embark on a quest to find the source of the curse under the lighthouse, which is an experience unlike any other.

    This feels very mysterious...and I like that. You don’t see that a lot in theme parks. It’s a good idea. What a fun idea to base an attraction off a ticket to Rude!

Marker Square

  There's always something happening in Marker Square. Serving as the entrance to the park, this is an area based off of the big American cities of the Roaring Twenties. Taking inspiration from cities like New York and Chicago, the area has a bunch of tall buildings, all between two and eight stories high, along with a bunch of streets with names referring to what can be found there. There is also a bunch of fictional businesses named after people who helped production in the park. Once you enter through the park's main gates, you will emerge into a small area where a big hill with the City Hall sits, where you can get help and services. Cut into the flesh of the hills are twin tunnels going into the park. Both tunnels are lined with posters advertising the attractions on both sides.  There are three roads when you come through. Mystic Bazaar

  In the middle of a great lake sits an island with a fortified Fifteenth Century Arabian city, complete with a massive palace, the centerpiece of the park, Shahryar's Palace. Based off the original Marker film, Arabian Nights, this also draws inspiration from the Arab character in Marker's Half Magic. This area connects to all the other areas in the park, making moving from place to place easy. From behind the stage in Marker Square, you can cross a bridge into the area, which takes you to the Traders Market, a big collection of stands where snacks, merchandise, and more is sold. In front of the Palace is the Magic Fountain, which preforms water shows from time to time. Behind that are steps and your entry into Shahryar's Palace, where you can explore the mysteries of the palace. World of Mystery

  Across the seas, there is a land of uncharted jungles, perilous rivers, and towering mountains. This is a place where you can explore unknown lands, themed to exploration of the late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Centuries. This area is split into three sub-areas, each one with a different theme. Connecting to Marker Square and Mystic Bazaar is a castaway community on a jungle island. A lot of the buildings of the sub-area are made from salvaged ships and natural things like wood and leaves. On hot days, you can soak up by the Leaky Boiler Splash Zone, a splash pad made of ship parts, most notably boilers. This is found just as you enter the area from the bridge. Between the sign is the Castaway Cook-off Restaurant and the S.O.S. Souvenirs shop. On the right is Shipwreck Steakhouse, another restaurant.
